SmartNet Network Operations Center or NOC, or Network Management Center takes core responsibility for network monitoring , incident response, communication management and network control of this large ISP. NOC personnel perform several duties in order to ensure the smooth running of the network. They deal with things such as DDoS Attacks, power outages, network failures, and routing black-holes ,also for certain conditions that may require special attention to avoid degraded service.
